OVERVIEW

If you are wondering what the term ‘Bromo’ means you are correct if you guessed it held some great significance. It is derived from the Javanese pronunciation of ‘Brahma, which is the Hindu creator god. Trip start from Malang to Cemoro Lawang village at night waiting for sunrise. After that you can enjoy 2 km 4WD jeep ride to Bromo National Park to explore it’s beautiful Bromo crater scenery. Stairs are available, but visitors should be cautious and follow instructions by a local guide. The trips continues to Kawah Ijen Volcano in Indonesia that has been highlighted by National Geographic for its electric-blue flames.

Astonishing experience!

The road up to Bromo mountain took us quite some time, but the view one got when arriving to the site was worth the while. We got there by 4WD cars, and the last piece we took some local horses. The noise from the volcano was quite loud and could be well heard from the bottom of the valley. The view from up the edge of the crater was awsome!
